Ellen Friedman

Meet Dr. Leonard Laskow – Author of Healing With Love

Leonard Laskow, M.D. will be in the Reno/Tahoe area offering special opportunities for you to experience various levels of the profound methods he has developed to heal with love.

Dr. Laskow, a Stanford-trained Life Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, served as faculty at UCSF and Chief of OB-GYN at the Community Hospital in Carmel, California.  He is a founding diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and a former member of the Institute of Heartmath’s Scientific Advisory Board.  Author of Healing With Love, Dr. Laskow is a consultant in Behavioral and Energy Medicine in Ashland, Oregon.  Dr. Laskow teaches internationally at medical centers, universities, and holistic institutes, including the Esalen Institute, Interface, the New York Open Center, UCSF Medical Center, and the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Ed Glauser, M.Ed., N.C.C., LPC has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for over 20 years.  He earned his graduate degree in Guidance and Counseling from The University of Georgia in 1990 and has counseled in inpatient and outpatient treatment centers, private practices, as well as school and university settings.  Ed combines his experience as an LPC with training and certifications in Holoenergetic® Healing (Dr. Leonard Laskow), Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH), Master Practitioner Program in Mind Body Medicine (NICABM) and is Ordained in the Order of Interbeing in Mindfulness (Thich Nhat Hanh).  Ed has lead workshops around the country and facilitates sessions for individuals in Holoenergetic® Healing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Distress and Pain Management, Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) and Mindfulness Practice for Self-Care for Physicians, their Families, and Patients. Moraima Suarez has been studying and practicing the healing arts for over 20 years.  She is a certified Holoenergetic® Healing practitioner, certified Bowenwork therapist, Reiki Level II practitioner, and a certified hypnotherapist.  She is a member of the Bowenwork Academy USA and the American Board of Hypnotherapy.  Moraima has been giving introductory lectures and demonstrations of Bowenwork at TRS, Inc., and the New Life Expo in New York City since 2001.  She has also been conducting Forgiveness Workshops since 2003.
