A telephone information and referral service, staffed by trained graduate students at the School of Professional Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, to support individuals experiencing difficulties with psychospiritual growth. In a culture which has not understood spiritual development, this 'gift' of being heard and understood by a knowledgeable and supportive listener can be life altering. The staff can provide referrals to licensed mental health care professionals in the caller's area who may be of ongoing assistance. CPSH professionals have demonstrated a capacity to work with clients who are experiencing psychospiritual difficulties. They are fully licensed and insured.
